The Columbus Museum of Art houses a superb collection of nineteenth and  twentieth-century United States and Western modern art. This unique collection contains major works by Monet, Matisse, Picasso, Renoir and O’Keefe.  Also, there are exhibitions of Impressionist, German Impressionist, and Cubism.

The museum presents ever changing programs of nationwide and worldwide collections, which means there is always something new and interesting to find here!



Not far out of the hustle and bustle of the city is The Columbus Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum, a must see for riding enthusiasts.  The Motorcycle Hall of Fame inductees and members exhibit showcases greats such as Malcolm Smith, from the movie “On any Sunday” as well as acknowledging those who have made important contributions to the nation’s riding record along with design and technological innovations.  The “Indian” motorcycles of a bygone era are a must see for young and old.

It also features a shop where you can get all your motorcycle collectibles, which guarantees that you’ll remember this experience for many years to come.


As Columbus is the capital of Ohio, it only seems fitting that the state fair be held here.  This annual event is a three-day extravaganza and is one of the biggest state fairs in the nation. Held  in beginning of August, the fair showcases the best of  Ohio’s products, produce, people and their achievements. Presenting outside enjoyment and attractions, vendors, commercial buildings, exhibits, competitions, livestock, bands and choirs, there is something here for the whole family.
