Visit the Ohio Swiss Festival the first weekend of October this year! The Ohio Swiss Festival began in 1953 to promote Ohio swiss cheese. It takes place in the quaint village of Sugar Creek – the gateway to Amish country in Ohio. The festival is dedicated to the hardworking Swiss people who settled in Sugar Creek and established the Swiss Cheese Industry.
Thursday September 29th – 5:00PM to 8:00PM

At the Ohio Swiss Festival, enjoy the cheese market and wine tasting area, with offerings from local wineries and cheese producers. Sample and choose from a wide selection of Ohio cheeses! There will also bee a beer garden on the square in downtown – Friday and Saturday 3:30 – 9am.
- Kiddie Parade on Friday at 2pm
- Antique Car on Saturday at 1:45
- Grand Parade at 2 will entertain.
- A Big Wheel Race and Kid’s Pedal Tractor pull are also held for local youth.
