Although currently closed due to COVID 19, this museum offers 2 floors of exhibits for children. The first floor has a huge hot wheels section, a Mr. Potato head section, and a dinosaur display. It also has some great pretend areas: supermarket, doctors office, tree-house, beauty salon, fire station, and more! The second floor offers a police station, building area, a train room and a nature room. This is only the beginning of the exhibits they offer. Hopefully the museum will re-open shortly! The kingwood center gardens is a huge gardens you can walk around! Admission is $5 a person. They have a perennial garden, an herb garden, and a historic garden. There is also a mansion on site that serves as a historical library. You can purchase plants for sale as well as their garden store. For horticulture lovers, the center offers several workshops throughout the year to sharpen your skill. Visit their website for more information on classes, workshops, and tours.
Admission to this art center in Mansfield is completely free! The center has rotating exhibits (view their website for current list of displays). They also offer art classes both in person and online. Currently, you can take a virtual tour of the art gallery as well!
Visit this unique museum about fire history! Take a step back in time and view firefighting from the 1800’s and on. The museum is currently working on some new displays and is able to be visited by appointment only from May to mid October.
Visit a Gothic revival style house and take a tour! The home has been restored to display a 19th century cottage. Tours are $5 for adults and $1 for children.
The Biblewalk Wax museum is the only wax museum in Ohio. Visit religious displays of Christian figures – featuring over 100 scenes and 325 figures.
